For just one day of the year, Siding Spring Observatory in Coonabarabran opens its telescopes to the public. it's your chance to take a closer look at Australia's largest optical astronomy site. A great family day out, with presentations by internationally-acclaimed astronomers, science displays, food stall, markets, solar observing and activities for children.
Can you guess who our Starfest Special guest speaker will be? Past guest have included astronaut Andy Thomas, Professor Matthew Colless, Dr Amanda Bauer and Professor Chris Lidman. Come along to find out who it is and hear about their work and all things out of this world!
